Youplay is a "program" I developed that allows $1performers to improvise using different layers of video recorded in their own room. (Both video and audio are shaped live).

Piece for solo instrument + live electronics, it is a personal reflection after the visualization of a document published in 2015 by the BBC. The video shows a city in Siria (Kobani) seen from the camera of a drone, revealing the results of the conflict.
This piece explores the figure of the performer as a user, taking his/her instrument as an interface between the physical and the virtual. The use of samplers (very short and pre-recorded sounds), which are launched by the EWI, simplifies the sonorous material at its maximum, removing any possible timbre variation and focusing exclusively on the relationship between action and sound.
